Quality of the Tattoos
How long do the temporary tattoos last in the skin?
Our tattoos last up to 7 days in good conditions depending on the friction, the size and the area where you place them. Our sticker tattoos are water ressistant, and sweat, swimming pools, showers or rainy days with hot teas do not affect them. If you want them to look better for a longer period, apply them in clean, dry, hairless skin. To remove the tattoos, use 70º alcohol or make-up remover.
Are the tattoos safe for the skin?
Safer than Chuck Norris’s wallet. Our tattoos are formulated without nanoparticles, components of animal origin or perfuming agents. How do I put a temporary tattoo?
There are many ways. Some of them bizarre. Some of them scary. Here we describe the official way: Remember that tattoos are seen mirrored. It is possible that you can’t clearly see a word or sentence, but once on the skin everything will look as it is supposed to.
To apply the tattoo, remove the protector and put it upside down on a clean, dry area of your body. It’s better if the skin has no makeup, cream or oil as it may affect its adherence. Next, wet the back of the tattoo. Lightly, no need to waste water. Press for 20 seconds and remove the paper. A ggod way to know if the tattoo is transferred, is to slide the paper istead of lifting it. If it slides without ressistance the tattoo is ready!
How can temporary tattoos be removed?
Human skin is supposed to shed every 20 or 30 days. But if a month is too much for you, you can rub the tattoo with 70º alcohol or make-up remover.
Do temporary tattoos stain the clothes?
Actually, a temporary tattoo can be applied in any surface, meaning you can decorate notebooks, tablets or even your clothes. Unfortunately, as soon as they go to the washing machine, the tattoos will disappear leaving no stain.
If I place my order now, when is it shipped?
For store tattoos, all parcels are sent within 24 hours after the order is placed. Since regular shipping goes via regular post service, orders made on Friday afternoon will be shipped on Monday.

How do I check my order status?
Once the order is confirmed you will receive an email, and a second one as soon as the order is shipped. If you have a Client Account, you can check the order status in your panel. If not, do not hesitate to contact us. Please remember that if you choose the standard shipping or the free shipping, your tattoos will be shipped by regular post and we won’t be able to track them. Standard shipping takes up to 9 working days to arrive, depending on the region. Populated areas have more frequent delivery services.

How long does it take an order to arrive?
For store tattoos, there are 3 shipping options. The standard shipping and the free shipping (for orders over 12€) are done via regular post. Depending on the region, the orders may take up to 9 working days to arrive. If you need them urgently, you can choose the 48h delivery. With this option you will receive your order in 2 working days. Orders will not be delivered during the weekend.

How much is the shipping?
Standard shipping for tattoos in the shop costs 1€. If your order is over 12€, you can opt to a free shipping. In case you need your tattoos as soon as possible, you can choose the 48h shipping for 15€.

Accepted payment methods are Debit/Credit Card, Paypal and Bank Transfer. All orders are shipped or start production after the payment is confirmed, regardless of the payment method selected.
In the event that you chose to pay by bank transfer, you can send us the proof of payment in order to speed up the process of shipping the order.
Payment at reception is not available.

How can I customise my temporary tattoos?
It’s vey easy! Whether it is a corporate logo or fantastic drawing of your kids, Tattootatu offers the possibility to buy custom temporary starting at 50 units. You can create a tattoo with pretty much any design in it: from a picture to a message to anything yu may think off. You just need to select the size in our Temporary Tattoos Customiser, upload your desing and choose the quantity.
Do you have wholes prices for companies?
Yes. Create an account with your legal information and you will have immediate access to our reseller prices. We recommend to adapt any given project to
our standard sizes to get the best offer.
What sizes are available?
You can choose from one of our stantard sizes or contact us with your own size proposition. Keep in mind that standard sizes are always cheaper. Also, you can get immediate price information from our website if you choose a standard size, while an email might take up to 48 hours to be responded. Non-standard sizes have a minimum cost of 1200€.
How long does it take to produce custom tattoos?
Once the order is placed and the payment is made, we need 4 weeks to deliver. This is the needed time to produce the tattoos with the quality we expect from ourselves. The correct drying of the inks and adhesives guarantees a perfect finishing, achieving a smooth and clean transfer to the skin and a bright and resistant tattoo.
Do you need your custom tattoos in less than 3 weeks?
Production time is always the same regardless of quantity or size. 3 weeks is the minimum needed to get a high quality tattoo. Nonetheless, do not hesitate to contact us with your required deadline or add it to the Comments section of your order. We will take it into account and advise you if it is feasible.
Can I receive samples of my tattoos before an order is confirmed?
Before any given production we send a digital artwork for you to give us your final confirmation. We won’t launch production without it, so you will have a fair idea of how the final tattoo will be like. In some cases, a sampling production is needed before placing a final order. In this case, we consider the sampling production as a minimum quantity order and take the 3 standard weeks to produce it. A third option is to place an order with stock tattoos from the shop and see our quality before placing the final order.
Which formats are accepted?
Ideally we would need one of these formats: PDF, PSD, TIFF, AI, PNG or JPEG. Recommended image quality is 300dpi, and to achieve maximum color fidelity files should be CMYK. Pantone printing is not available.
We understand that background white in any given image is transparent in the skin. In case your design has white in it (e.g. eyes), you can write it in the Comments section or in a separated layer in your file. In any case, we will send you the digital file and you will have to approve it before production.
Are the tattoos delivered in single polybags?
We offer you the chance to wrap your tattoos in a single polybag. Unless it is strictly necessary (usually if the tattoos go inside another product) we recommend the cheapest option without wrapping. The protection given by the transparent foil is usually enough. In case you need the tattoos singlepacked, the material used is transparent BOPP apt for food contact. You will be able to see the design distinctly from the outside and insert the tattoo in any product. Singlepacking is available for orders over 1000 tattoos.
How can I cancel my order?
You can cancel your order at any time from your Account or via email. If you cancel after the tattoos have been sent, we will need you to reject the delivery. Once the tattoos are received in our warehouse, we will proceed to reimboursing the full amount to the same payment method you used when placing the order. If the order was sent via Urgent Shipping, this cost will not be refunded.
How do I return my order?
If you experience any issue with a tattoo and it couldn’t be solved by our team, you have up until 60 days after delivery to return it. In order to return it, please send an email with a pick up address and date, and our courier will return it to our warehouse. Once the faulty tattoos are here, we will proceed to reimbourse you via the same payment method you used to place the order. Petitions from products used, damaged or in poor conditions will not be answered.
